No one will care about Purpose and it's singles this time next year. They already sound dated. And him and Scooter really had to push for him to be this successful. Like, he had to actually deliberately show his genitalia to get a number 1 again.

Do you realize that outside of 1D's niche audience no one can name more than 3 songs and i'm being very generous here? They are successful and making money like some of the big boy bands of the past but I think that Purpose will be remembered as his comeback album.
On what planet doesn't 1D's songs sound forward thinking? the video they came out with (I saw ha randomly on vh1 working from home one day serves BSB teas).

I think Bieber is trying to make his sound signature because whatever kiddie bop stuff he did in the beginning of his career was for the moment and even when he tried to be "urban" kii that was obviously not a sound that was going to have much power.

This sound that blends dance/tropical/pop with dashes of urban will most likely become his signature sound since no one has really merged those and kept it going as their signature.

Ya'll need to accept that Bieber won.

I don't even know his albums sales...I'll ask duca for that but surely his albums and singles have held up much better than your recent faves efforts.


I think from this era his future grammy winning where are you now/sorry/love yourself (which gives me fergie/justin/random AC act teas) and maybe two more songs will be signature songs for him.
