I was making a general statement.

Her message and image don't have to be complicated, she's just never been afraid to make a statement that can come back and bite her. If you think that making Partition and Rocket on her first post-motherhood album wasn't a statement, then you're kidding yourself.

I understand that you may not like her music, I don't like Katy's music for example, but I can respect what she's done for herself. I don't like the music from many talented artists/performers, but that doesn't mean I drag them or dismiss obvious talent when I am shown evidence of it time and time again. That's the difference between me and you.

Except this is not true. it's like certain people have been brainwashed into believing the hype. Almost as if there is no evidence to the contrary when there is plenty.

this is particularly why Beyonce stans do have a hard time being taken seriously because their flawed arguments consist of copying and pasting the propaganda hype machine stuff and disregarding all the evidence against it.
