Well since I highly doubt Gotskill and Meowster (?) are going to use their saves on me; I'd like to thank you all for this amazing experience, here in Platinum Hit 8.
I came into this competition having never written a proper song before and to make it past the Top 25, let alone make it to Top 10, has been incredible. I've always wanted to write songs but I've never had the motivation or the push to actually put pen to paper. Thus I joined PH8 hoping that the deadlines would be the thing I needed to spur me on and it was. Since then I've begun writing lyrics not just for the challenges but for myself and my own writing. I've begun immersing myself in song-writing so much that I'll think of lyrics in the street, at train stations, and even in the shower
; and it's been because of this competition.
I'd like to thank Sam and the rest of the judges for giving me the time of day and believing in my abilities up until this point. I'd like to thank my other contestants for providing me with the environment to thrive in and also communicating with me about songs
I hope to see you around at the next Platinum Hit and even around ATRL because you've been incredible
And on the off chance that either judge saves me, I'll repost this when i get eliminated.
