I just watched an SNL rerun from 2010 when Katy was the musical guest, I only saw the California Gurls performance but it was tragic Hulu even tagged it as "train wreck" and "tone deaf" at the time:

All around tragic vocals, but some highlights include her facial expressions on the "woah ah oh ah oh ah oh" parts (in the middle of the first chorus mainly), and 2:43 on......the "woah oh ah oh ah oh" and her facial expression with it, followed by the tragic "califoooooornyaaaaaaaah"s

I don't know why but that same simple dance routine they do every chorus cracks me up

Speaking of bad SNL performances, obviously Lana's. I love Lana and was absolutely LOVING her starting like November/December 2011, so I was so excited and hyped to see her on SNL. I was watching live, and when she started I was like shocked and confused at how bad it was....I had YouTubed other performances she had done in Europe and they weren't like 100% perfect, but they were good
