I'm going to assume that none of the support Pokemon will become playable. So that rules out the following: Snivy, Lapras, Emolga, Fennekin, Frogadier, Eevee, Jirachi, Whimsicott, Mismagius, Ninetales, Electrode, Farfetch'd, Togekiss, Rotom, Dragonite and Victini.
Basically all of them have feet, although 4 legged creatures aren't impossible (Suicune). I agree with Blue on Kabutops. Don't really want to see it there though.Maybe we'd get something more popular; like Tyranitar (M), or Rhyperior. Possibly even get Diancie as a special encounter.
I'm pretty sure we'll get Greninja for it at one point. There are so many normal types that if we do get one it could be anything, but the most probable are perhaps Lopunny, Furfrou, Kangaskhan and Snorlax. Agree with Blue on bug types but M-Beedrill is also a possibility if its allowed to hover when moving.
Ground has so many. I wouldn't rule out Groudon, but Garchomp , Swampert and the Nidos are likely too. That leaves dragon which could be Garchomp, Noivern, Goodra, or even Rayquaza for a boss fight. I'd like to see Ampharos tbh.
