Not quite. Kim is polarizing so she's disrespected very often but there's a reason she gets invited to prestigious events and institutions and Britney (and the rest of ATRL's faves, for that matter) will never be.

At least Britney is respected by up and comers, Kim is respected by absolutely no one, please don't delude yourself. Getting invited places b/c the press follows you around like heroin addicts due to your wacky antics and crazy family is not "respect".

No, a good 95% of the criticism aimed at Kim & Co. is rooted in misogyny.

You guessed wrong because you don't know me. I live in the north of Mexico were the money is made. My city is a cultural clash where three races collide into common life.
And nobody cares whose music do you listen when they date you, they care about your LOOKS, here in Mexico, in China and in Timbuktu.

I don't mean just getting invited to fancy parties. No offense, but I remember you being extremely delusional back when you would regularly post in here so please don't tell me to not delude myself. Anyway, I'm referring to how she meets with world leaders, speaks at important conferences that celebrities don't really get invited too, etc.
Someone who was fifteen when Oops came out saying 'Omg, Britney used to kill the VMAs!!!' isn't respect.

It depends on one's rationale for hating them. If you dislike their attitudes/personalities, fine. I'd argue that most of the hate directed at them from random people on Facebook, etc. is because of the perceived hypersexuality/vanity, and what they deem "un-lady-like."
There's a fine line, but it's not difficult to identify the blatant misogyny when it's all over social media.
