This has been done so many times, and the answer hasn't changed. X had the biggest peak among her peers + X was bigger than Beyonce at her peak (source - http://i.imgur.com/PxPIgJ6.jpg) when she wasn't even at her biggest.

Beyoncé has peaked several times during her career.
Didn't she sell 10+ million with her first album and earned a couple of #1s with her first album? She also got more Grammys than Xtina has ever gotten in her entire career. Then she released her second album and had one of the biggest radio hits ever and a couple of hits and ended up selling almost 7 million copies worldwide. After a break, she released another album that ended up giving her 6 Grammys in one a night and song that went on to become one of her signature hits. She sold 7 million copies around the globe. She embarked on a tour that gross almost $100 million. She took another break and released her fourth album and ended up selling more than Xtina's latest two releases combined despite users in here trying to discredit 4's success and labeling as a fail. After that she headlined the Super Bowl and embarked on another tour that grossed way over $150 million and released an album that sold 1 million copies during its first exclusive week on iTunes.
She DOMINATED along Britney in late 90s beginning of 00s.
Beyonce was always a local hit.
Beyonce was never local at her peak, luv. Let's not be deluded. Both DIL & IASF sold very well outside of the US. Plus had bigger singles than Xtina ever had.
Beyonce has longevity on her side. But she never impacted the world as much as Xtina did during her peak.
Beyoncé has peaked several times during her career. She's impacted the world several times. She did it first with Crazy in Love, then with Beautiful Liar and Irreplaceable and Single Ladies and If I Were a Boy. How was she local according to you and did not impact the world? Xtina had a big peak because she released her first album in 2000 while Bey did it three years later and if you want to compare, both peaks were huge.
