The format of the show is different and I like it. You have your main wives but their is more group interaction and everyone has a "friend" that is involved in the drama. Also, the editing is GOLD. I guess Carlos had to step away and come back just for the show to get better.

I also love what Kim is doing for the show. She is showing her vulnerability and is being true to herself. She is playing this game smart. She won't come back for Season 9 but got her name out there and I see her being an EP on the show.

I also hope Tammy and/or Sheree gets a peach next season.

More like Porsha, Sheama and Kenya were the stars tonight. It was cool to see them have fun together.

True. Kim was the star too but not for the best reasons.

When there is no DIVIDE the girls get the drama for the scene and then move on to have fun.

It doesn't get dragged all the way out the entire season and create tension.

Last night's episode proved that they are a TEAM. They know who's going to be the potstirrers, they know who's going to bring the drama. They know who's going to keep the show trending. They know who's going to be the voice of reason. They know who is going to bring the fun and the sexiness.

The only thing is that Kim is responding the way a viewer would, thinking they could just fit in if given the opportunity to be on the show...and then it doesn't happen.

Kim proved she has sass and can read when she needs to but she NEEDS TO BRING OUT HER INNER REGINE HUNTER...that's the missing element.

That or maybe certain cast members that would create division and keep the tension going throughout the season are no longer there and the current girls know they have to be team players and step it up.

Everyone is stepping it up except phaedra but she is going through alot and I think those lawyer fees she had to pay for apollo really sunk in. Phaedra always playing it off like she has so much money but she did have to pay alot of money for apollo so that's never easy even when you have money to take out that much when you are not benefiting.

Phaedra needs to step it up though because even Porsha and cynthia are blowing her out of the water.

Kim was getting dragged on twitter. Nobody is hear for that woe is me act it's getting old. It's taking the fun out of the scenes. She's a mood killer and she doesn't fit in. It does seem like the more she hangs around them she's getting a little more spice to her though.

It's clear Nene was causing the divide between the girls. Notice last season during the Manila trip they were altogether having a good time when Nene wasn't present. If she comes back I hope she doesn't try to do that again she can stay off the show.

Kim is not here for Kenya's messy ways. I like Kim Fields but she needs to stop sweating Kweenya

Of course Kandi is an opportunist. She knows there's money to be made from storylines that revolve around rivalries (which is why she rooted for Porsha to stay on the show after she literally dragged Kenya & why she stirred the pot between Cynthia and Porsha).

But you'll never, ever see Kandi have a full-out rivalry with ANYONE now. As time has shown, she lets her employee and Mama Joyce do the talking for her. Say what you want about NeNe, but she's a great judge of character, which is how she knew that Carlos King was fraudulent & messy boots. She knew the same thing about Kandi from the beginning.

Yeah, the manila trip and this season are more like an ensemble cast

I understand Kim's perspective IF she was a viewer watching the show from her tv screen but she knows how this game works. I'm not buying that she never saw an episode of this show so she knows that if any shade is thrown on camera behind the person's back will be brought up to be address later on.

I felt for her because her kids are so young. If they were teens I'd sideeye but young kids NEED their mother. I just wished she was more prepared to deal.

Tbh does Kandi have any besties on the show anymore? She and Porsha are friends but not at the level of Porsha and Phaedra. I feel like Kandi is just kind of neutral and not really invested with anyone.

I also really like Shamea. She seems funny and very intelligent. The show is so much more better when the girls are all getting along and the fights come from outside sources or inner conflict (like Kim's issues) rather than them getting in altercations with each other.

Also Porsha is seriously great. She keeps the show exciting with the dating stuff.

Ok none of what u typed has anything to do with opportunism. Kandi most likely has the biggest empire of them all and her income doesnt come from storylines. She doesnt kiss up to any of them. If there is money to be made from rivalry then Kandi isnt the one raking in the cash.

If Mama Joyce allowed herself to be portrayed as monster-in-law (not that theres any proof of this), she knew what she stood to gain from reality tv notoriety.

Yeah I feel like Nene stans are aiming for Kandi since she is the center peach and the true HBIC of the show.

It's an ensemble cast now more than ever but respect is always paid to Kandi even when she is wrong or subjective.
Why because she's the HBIC? and she seems cooperative with production.

I think people are confusing opportunist with being savvy.

She can't be like Deshawn snow but that doesn't mean she has to actually be involved in the altercations like Porsha.

It's an art to Kenya making scenes and keeping the pot stirred but even bigger art to Kandi sliding in her quick lil comments to instigate while keeping her hands clean.
