Vegas is in its third wave and that's an undeniable fact. I don't see why it's so hard to admit that

the only thing Britney may have brought to Vegas is STD's

If Enya had just did 1 more era in between SM and TMOT, she could be coming for 100M albums.

Moo has been copying Godney's career moves for the past few years already.
- Becoming a judge on a talent show
- Releasing a flop like BJ, but even worse
- Vegas residency.

But even this is changing. Luring a megastar like Britney Spears doesn’t just reveal the ambition of Vegas resorts, it also points to a seismic shift in the city’s economics as a whole. Her arrival comes as the average age of tourists has fallen from 49 to 45 in the past four years. And the business model shifts again – from a family-friendly holiday destination to a party town for young people.
But as Vegas itself sheds its skin once more – and becomes “Ibiza-with-gambling” – there are ramifications for the Strip. According to Time magazine, around 39.7 million people visited in 2012, more than the record set in pre-recession 2007. And that figure should easily top 40 million this year. But younger customers flock for the stars and the clubs, not the blackjack tables. Last year, gambling revenue was down 13.6 per cent on 2006.

Britney Spears's residency at Planet Hollywood represents a new era for Vegas, a city anxious to introduce itself to a new generation. While gambling used to make the money in Vegas, non-gaming revenue now accounts for 64 per cent of the city's income, with live entertainment a significant part of that mix.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority predicts that Las Vegas will reach 45 million annual visitors in the next couple years, spurred on by the growing number of venues and attractions. Companies like Cirque du Soliel, artists like Britney Spears, and even sporting events like the national championships of table tennis are seeing Las Vegas as one of the best places to bring audiences and fans together.
Quote:
In 2014, gaming revenue made up about one-third of the total tourism economy of Las Vegas, its lowest level in recorded history. For the future of Las Vegas and the resort companies located there, this is a good thing. Instead, the entire non-gaming resort economy, especially hotel and convention usage revenue, is spurring new growth for these companies.
Las Vegas citywide hotel occupancy reached nearly 87% in 2014, which according to Travel Agent Central is 20 percentage points higher than the national average, meaning Las Vegas has higher hotel occupancy rates than any other destination in North America.
You don't have to when the receipts are right there.
Speaking of receipts, I cannot wait till the HDD thread in 4 days. Did you pre-order his album yet, sis?

I love her for leaving Britney's wig in tact, tho.
I still can't believe she sold more albums than Janet Jackson and Shania Twain, though. She is such a global legend.

Her last concert tour did $68.7M (missing dates) in a worse market and was deemed an absolute disaster. I'm yet to see how Kanye is a legend and I'm from one of four countries where he's popular.

These 'receipts' from a buzzfeed article with innacurate numbers and probably written by a white gay like that Blackout one which was already exposed
The knees are a kii. Her residency is BOMBING and they want anyone to believe she is 'changing economy'

Wow. All these people that would hate Britney and call her pathetic no matter what are doing the same thing they do everyday? That would be like me making a compilation of YouKneeKorn, Starstruck, roarritenow1 etc mocking Gaga as proof of their veracity
