Just send a help request telling us how long you'd like the ban, and if you want it lifted early usually just tweet @atrl or one of the mods, me/Lee/Kworb are all easily contactable via Twitter.
We don't give them to people with lots of WP's though, as people used to request bans for short periods of time to avoid getting more points. So the rough mark is around 5 or less.
