Maybe in the case of like Justin Timberlake and Diana Ross, but even then it's their sales. But that logic really falls apart when the artist does both simultaneously.
2001: Survivor
2003: Dangerously In Love
2004: Destiny Fulfilled
2005: #1's
2006: B'Day (which features #1 song from #1's "Check On It")
So for some reason Survivor and Destiny Fulfilled don't count (by your measure)? But what's the difference to Beyonce? To her name, she has the credits for these albums and songs. How does an album count one year and the album you do the next year doesn't count?

Maybe in the case of...what?
Wow this is such a sad display
DC albums and singles and airplay and streams count for the DC act.
Beyonce's albums and singles and airplay and streams count for the Beyonce act.
The industry views these as acts for a reason.
She could release a DC3 and Beyonce album in the same year and they are still not going to be added up.
OMG two different acts will command two different pay scales, two different sponsors and two different results
Unless we are saying when DC3 dropped an album after the superbowl that she doesn't have 5 consecutive studio albums.
RIAA credits them separately. has billboard stated that Beyonce has 9 #1 hot 100 hits without mentioning anything related to her group. No.
I understand Beyonce stans love reaching but you are not going to win against Billboard and RIAA as well as many other reputable sources that determine how these acts business wise are classified.
I'm not surprised of the reach but I am surprised that you couldn't offer a stronger argument.
