Sorry for replying so late, I was supposed to last night but the power got cut off halfway so I went to bed instead
Anyway, thanks, I just got interviewed by another place today so I hope it's better than that one. I'm sure you'd fit right in because I think there's only like, 5 people there that can speak Japanese and they're like really in need of people who could communicate with the customers, who are mostly middle aged Japanese men , plus I'm sure they'd treat you better than me too because of that. I quit because I feel like I wouldn't be able to do much, like not really using up all of my abilities because of the language barrier. I'm sure the managers would just think of me as another minion of theirs. Also, I can't stand having to be super polite to the point where it's too forcing & fake to me, like I'd supposed this "perfect servant" or something. Not to be that dramatic but the managers and even some of the employees were picking on me about my posture & how I sit & walk & everything, it's stressful. At one point where I got kinda tired of standing I leaned back on the wall behind me a bit but I didn't make it obvious or anything, this fellow employee walked up to me and told me I'm only allowed to stand straight and he was mocking my posture in a really exaggerated way, which was uncalled for. Then again, I'm not the one who would decided my working schedule & they told me I'd be working 7 days a week straight, which I agreed to when I was really naive & excited about being accepted, but now I realized, I have to get up at 5:30 for classes from morning till noon 4 days a week so if I'm gonna be working evening shifts till 11 everyday, I'd only get about 4-5 hours of sleep a day, literally. I'd rather be unemployed than passing out in class and failing. I've seen lots of people in my class quitting or only showing up once in a while after they started their jobs so I don't wanna end up like that.
