I enjoyed the show. The finale was a lot more exciting than I thought. But I can't help but feel like there was no point to the story. American Horror Story will show the characters before, during and after whatever crazy storyline they're following. This show just seemed to play on Emma's character in Coven and extend into a full series with similar characters.
With that said, I did enjoy Jamie, Emma and Abigail a lot. I didn't care for Lea before the series, but I see her differently.

I'm mad about the finale but remember, this isn't an anthology show like AHS.
There's no way the Chanels aren't coming back in S2.

The whole show was originally meant to be a spin off for madison, so it isn't a surprise tbh
I enjoyed the finale, the season would have been better if it had only been 10 episodes though, and a more surprising reveal, it all felt a bit predictable for me be the final few episodes

The only thing I'm mad about is how they revealed the future at the beginning of The Final Girl(s), that practically ruined it for me, the reveal at the end would've been better, the episode could've started with Hester going to the hospital and then the Chanels blaming #5, then Hester arrives and etc etc, then the iconic scene of the Chanels getting arrested kicks in, then the trial, then the horrible resurrection of Kappa w Grace and Zayday and then the Hester monologue, that would've been better. I'm also mad about the very last scene, as if Ryan didn't **** up already with Chanel, she gets her possibly killed???? That last scene was absolutely POINTLESS. Anyway, it had some good moments, like the pizza guy exploding, the iconic arrest scene, the framing by Hester and maybe the apologizing to Melanie, Ryan could've done so much better, everything was alright until the last episode started.

Btw, has anyone noticed the AHS: Asylum reference during the scene where they are being admitted in the Asylum? They pass by a statue exactly like the one from Asylum, and the camera focused on it for a few seconds.

The episodes in order of rating on IMDb:
Dorkus - 8.9
Thanksgiving - 8.7
Ghost Stories - 8.5
Mommie Dearest - 8.4
Seven Minutes in Hell - 8.3
Haunted House - 8.2
Beware of Young Girls - 8.2
Black Friday - 8.2
Pumpkin Patch - 8.2
Hell Week - 8.1
Chainsaw - 8.0
The Final Girl(s) - 7.8
Pilot - 7.7
Pretty accurate, except the Pilot/Hell Week & Black Friday are too low ans Seven Minutes in Hell is too high, but I suppose the backlash of the pilot bc people realized what they were getting into is to blame for that.

I knew that! I was just being facetious. Sorry.

But Abigail from episodes 8-13 is good, while Abigail in episodes 1-7 is still cringe-worthy. It didn't read as unhinged, just childish acting.
Emma may have had weak moments (And while I know her screaming after being attacked in Hell Week was one of them, it was nowhere near Grande or Abigail or Diego level bad), but Abigail & Diego straight up sounded like this was their first time acting, ever, at a lot of times.

Lea is easily a better actress than Emma. Lea as Rachel Berry was great lets not take that from her. Even as Hester she killed it.
Everyone else besides Jamie were a mess acting wise, specially #3 and #5.

In my opinion, Lea just played a psycho Rachel Berry, but still Rachel Berry.
Chanel and Madison are bitchy BUT I feel like they were different. The way Emma portrayed the characters was different.

I would definitely dispute flawless. Honestly, in a lot of her scenes, I felt like I was watching someone act vs. actually watching Chanel. It didn't feel very natural, which is obviously her style of camp, but that's not good camp. And as said, she had some truly atrocious line deliveries, such as "A GUY IN A RED DEVIL COSTUME UHHHHHHH-TTACKED ME!"

The only person I thought who came across like she never acted before was, shocker, Billie Lourd, who actually forgot to scream while the maid's face was being burnt off in some of the scenes. Thought Breslin and Boneta came across as completely believable

Lord, Chanel going on and on about apologies and all, only to pull a knife on Melanie, then be proven wrong 5 minutes later, is the greatest moment in the whole show. Poor Dorkus being overshadowed by "The crazy one did it" next episode.

But what makes what Abigail did at the beginning of the season any better than what Billie or Emma did all season long? Billie may have forgotten to scream in that one scene, but compare her not acting in the background to what she did when she actually had lines of importance and you'll see the difference. She did great.
Meanwhile, Abigail was absolutely HORRENDOUS, and I mean Razzy-worthy, in her "I WILL come after you, do you underSTAND that?!", which could've been an extremely convincing moment but it just wasn't because it sounded like **** star-level acting. She was terrible up until episode 8 (she had one moment in episode 6, after Chanel asked her if her vagina had teeth, that was great, though). Abigail did a lot better in the second half in the season; her best acting was in Dorkus (more proof Dorkus is the best episode).
Diego's only convincing acting was in Dorkus, and his Matthew McConaughey impressions (which I never thought I'd ever praise). The rest of the time he just sounded like it was his first time acting, ever. He's a terrible actor.
I think a lot of the issues that can be seen with Emma's acting is just how often she's on-screen. Sure, you might get sick of her character, but that doesn't invalidate her acting. Her worst lines were probably in Mommie Dearest ("Nearest bathroom? What? WHAT is going ON?!"), but even that wasn't as bad as some of the cringe-worthy moments Abigail had.

Anyway since it ended May 2016 I think if there is a season two it will kick off with Chanel actually killing Hester and they will be proven innocent and maybe sentenced to work in the summer camp for killing Miss Bean although it wasn't entirely Chanel's fault. Hester dying in the first episode would be shocking. It could actually be great if not all actors whose characters survived would appear on it. Like Wes belongs in the trash. Also Ashley Benson is interested on playing a Chanel according to her twitter and Lady Gaga could be a guest star with a role as big as Ariana's I could see Cathy coming back as she has bought the camp or something like that. Also I wonder how different would the actual theme be? Like will it include supernatural elements, a real killer or will it be another whodunnit? I would prefer the latter tbh. I'm just rooting so much that if Fox drops it FX or Netflix would pick it up. I really really want another season.

Billie Lourd was my overall favourite from the series. The way she came in from nowhere and outshone all the established actresses so easily. I hope she has a long career ahead of her, she deserves it.

I just don't see how a second season is going to happen. The whole point of the show was to have the 4-5 survivors in the end moving on, and with 10 survivors, I don't see how they're going to kick off a second season with that format without it being a convoluted and cringe-worthy mess. I loved this show so much up until the finale, but that finale sealed the deal on the future of this show and I'd rather not have a second season.

I found her to be both funny, and completely convincing. she was an over the top caricature, but I actually believed that I was watching Chanel #5. With Emma, I thought I was watching Emma Roberts play Chanel Oberlin. With Billie, I was just watching bad acting

She couldn't have been more dead, lifeless, and amateur. She has one facial expression through thirteen episodes. She mumbles her lines to the point I can't understand what she's saying. And when she tries for emotion, she's utterly unwatchable (mourning Sam's death, being pissed off at Sam, etc.)

You really could have said this in one sentence "I didn't think Abigail was convincing." You didn't really post any kind of specific criticisms minus one line I'm about to address.
I do see where you think the "I will come after you, do you underSTAND that!?" was stilted, but I actually thought it was totally believable for the character. #5 is in public. She is two seconds from a meltdown. And she is trying to completely hold it in despite that. It makes complete sense for that line delivery to sound forced (which I'm assuming is your complaint) because, in universe, it IS forced. And once again, I found her quite funny.

I thought he was charismatic and likeable enough as a token nice guy And I mean, you saying "He sucked" doesn't lend itself much to discussion at all about whether or not he can act.

I thought she was awful in the Ms. Bean face frying scene the moment that leaked, and I thought the writing for it was hilarious. So no. I genuinely don't think she's a very good actress out side of Madison. A lot of her delivery felt incredibly forced. I don't think it's all Emma's fault. She had a lot of rough dialogue to work with, and the directing for this show wasn't very good, but, at the same time, Glen Powell had more absurd, badly written dialogue and still managed to be 100% on and believable 100% of the time. And more than that, actually made the dialogue funny. Same goes for Niecy Nash, who had terrible material, but I'd be lying if I said she didn't bring it with her acting as much as she could.

Her worst moment was definitely the meltdown after Zayday announced her run for presidency. That was arguably worse than Grande and very reminiscent of Freak Show. Chanel is practically meant to be in tears, but you can literally hear Emma forcing the sadness from a mile away while she's SCREAMING AND SHOUTING EVERY SINGLE LINE... before going back to talk normal for the rest of the sentence (SOMETHING THAT SHE DID... on a near constant basis. WHICH GOT REALLY ANNOYING.... in a very a short amount of time)

The best characters:
1. #3
2. Chanel
3. #5
4. Denise
5. Hester
The ones that really annoyed me:
Earl Grey: the most pointless piece of ****
Wes: annoying, horrible actor, wasn't hot or funny and those were the two things he was supposed to be
Grace: like one moment you think her basic bitch phase is over and then she becomes even worse than before
and Chad after episode 6 when he stopped being funny. (Glen's acting was great but the jokes were so overused.)
Ryan is amazing at writing female characters but he sucks at writing guys.
