Is it an Avatar or an actual gif.

Avatars are much smaller image size (125x125) so that's fine, but gifs are usually like 300-500 width and 200 height

This looks a little smushed tho. If you want to get a perfect square, just go to the crop tool and enter 125 x 125 [or any number as long as it's the same] into the width and height boxes like so:


Also, when you're saving a gif for web, make sure the setting is on pattern and not diffusion for the best quality:

NOTE: the quality of any gif when you save it will always decline a little bit compared to how it looks in photoshop and that's completely fine. Black and white gifs or any two-color gif will always look HD af tho.

Hi, moonlight. I have just made my first avi (I used a different method though) but do you know how can i add frames from another gif to bring two gifs together? (artpop teas) Like make a longer gif by adding frames from another gif, not putting them on the same canvas at the same time.

Yup. When I sharpen it it looks even worse
The gif will look fine in photoshop until I resize it to 125x125px. Then it just gets messy and blurry

You can get it to look sharper using the Photoshop action. Personally, I think it looks great as it is, but if you want to sharpen it, here's the action I use: xx
