Am obviously not saying every album sold exactly the same but a plethora of albums sold very well back then. As evidenced by the fact that the LOWEST album on that list still sold 7 million copies. Nobody is denying that Oops sold a lot but it was during the peak of album sales when a lot of albums did big numbers.

What you are saying is that every album sold the same and they didn't
Please list the albums that went 14x platinum in the US and 10x platinum and then compare it to the albums that sold under that amount.
Note that it wasn't easy or everyone wasn't just selling 10M albums in the states.
It might have been easier to go platinum but a skip hop and a jump to just get 10x platinum
