Oh I like Mariah better in terms of vocals, sound, and writing, but of course Whitney's a goddess as well, and I haven't listened to nearly enough of her discography.
And Wrapped in Red is probably her best album tbh, she just excels with covers. And your taste HYAMLC is my fave though, the F5 she belts the **** out of
Breakaway is ha best, duh.
Just for Now is probably the song I use the most on WIR.
A Moment Like This & My Life Would Suck are lowkey her best songs though. They get hate, but yet were #1's.
It's only because she's fat. Kelly Clarkson (and Christina Aguilera) can't pull off being fat, their faces look like a beach ball. Meghan Trainor barely pulls it off herself. Adele can pull it off because she has some sort of structure in her face. Kesha can pull it off because even when her midsection expands, her face, neck, arms, and legs somehow remain skinny (not going to lie, she does have a bizarre body type). When Kelly Clarkson goes back to being skinny, everyone will stan for her again.

Oh no... You're one of those Breakaway is a good album, but All I Ever Wanted and Wrapped in Red thrash it.
And MLWSWY is a decent choice for ha best, but AML is nothing more than a middle of the pack song for her.

I mean, I don't know about most of this statement, but you didn't lie with the last part.

Already Gone would complete the trinity I believe. I was obsessed with the song back in 2009 too.
AMLT is euphoric. It gives a great feeling.
Breakaway has a lot of punches which is why it's my favorite. I know 90% say it because it was her biggest album / the one they're most familiar with, but it's truly a gr8 album!

I will be adding the sales of this installment to the total sales of E•MO•TION btw hihihi
Not adding the sales of a video game with the album.
Reminds me of when in 2013 I was trolling and added the sales of a NOW compilation.

I was obsessed with Already Gone when it came out as well
AMLT is sometimes enjoyable, but it's nothing I would go out and recommend to those trying to get into Kelly.
And of course Breakaslay punches with its 4 classics, along with the gems Hear Me, You Found Me and Gone
Disney owns Marvel and the rights to The Avengers (along with a few other Marvel comics), but Fox owns the rights to all mutants, aka, X-Men, so Disney can't use any mutants in their Marvel films. As a result, Disney has been phasing out all X-Men comics (currently there are no more new X-Men comics). And that's why you don't see any X-Men toys or no new X-Men animated shows. They're trying to put focus on The Avengers, by "erasing" X-Men (it's working, but not really working that well). That being said, Disney can still legally use any X-Men that's involved with The Avengers (Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch). That's why Quicksilver is played by two different actors in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past." The catch is that Disney legally can't call them mutants (since Fox owns the rights to all Marvel mutants). So, in "Age of Ultron," Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch are normal humans who were experimented on, and not "mutants."

I don't think I'll be able to tolerate her at any size.

While I don't mean to attack you or your reasons for liking her, she just doesn't do it for me. She's got a few good singles, but even those have been entirely lacking since Already Gone or so. I don't think when I listen to her. I don't analyze lyrics or production or imagine myself in the situations she sings about. It's like I hear her voice, and a switch is flipped somewhere in my hippocampus; I don't feel.
Her voice and tone are also too much for me anymore, kind of like when you eat too much cake that's not very good in the first place but you keep going because you're already at this damn wedding and there's more cake in front of you and nothing better to do. She's like mediocre wedding cake to me. I don't find substance or significance in her work, and I find it to be sonically average in pretty much every way.
She's very much like Demi in that regard - nothing that I find particularly distinguishing about the music, but with good vocals that almost make it a little worse because of the vocal talent that she possesses. She's not nearly as annoying as Demi and I wouldn't ever insult in artist by comparing them to Demi seriously, but there's that same feel about her.
It's not even that it's bad - her music is, I guess, kind of okay overall. It's the lack of any standout work or anything particularly defining or distinguishing that bothers me most. It's all the same stuff, all the same sound, all the same lyrical idea, all the time.
Also, her album cover was the worst thing literally of all time. That's probably important.

Oh don't worry about offending me, I'm well aware that Kelly isn't to everyone's taste I think it's funny that you say you don't think when you listen to her, or imagine scenarios, because that's all I do. I think that's one of the biggest reasons, along with her voice, that I really love her: somehow, some way, she has a song that speaks to my romantic condition 24/7, and the story plays out in my head with the music.
I can see why you find her work to sonically average, I really do. She likes good music, and covers great songs, but for whatever god forsaken reason, she's often driven to the same field of pop rock filler. While to me it's good and enjoyable, I totally understand why it doesn't appeal to people like yourself, and it doesn't help that RCA relies on the same formula and sound for picking her singles (though thankfully Catch My Breathsus added some variety).
My friend feels like the same way about Kelly as you do: that she finds Kelly so frustrating because she has insane vocal prowess but uses it for average music. And while I do disagree with the variety she's covered a lot sonically, I like most of the KC base find myself getting tired of the same thematic elements as well.
And her album cover wasn't that bad I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me.
The more and more I listen to Kelly, the more I'm baffled as to why I love her so much musically. So much of her music relies on empowerment and an electric guitar: it almost never fails. But every time I hit play on her, she just clicks with me, and I'm not judging you at all for not feeling the same way.
