It's not even about who the RD is, it's that the finale was basically her just framing them three. There was nothing tied up. Besides flyaway scenes of Hester doing things without ANY explanation. Everyone SURVIVED. There was no victory for anyone and any fans of the characters will just feel like "wtf, you made me WAIT all season to see if ___ survived." JUST SO EVERYONE CAN SURVIVE.
The whole finale was patronizing to the viewers and its fans.

I liked #5. She's one of my favs. I mean, I hated her too, but she was fun to watch. And I'd count Oberlin redeemed for me as well with this ep now that she's firmly established as unlikeable and evil. Enjoying a character doesn't mean I have to root for them as a person (3 just sucked though, at least IMO)
Also, I'd already started and wanted to see who lived/died/was the RD. I did like a few characters too, so (Chad, Hester, Cathy, #5, Gigi, Pete, Boone)

But really, the Pete/Chad scene from Black Friday was completely pointless now  And who the hell was Pete talking to on the phone at the end of the episode? 
Also, even though Hester is clearly a lunatic, does that mean her erratic mannerisms and stuff were all fake?

-Chanel Oberlin is repeated attempted murderer. #3 and #5 are accomplices
-Are selfish sociopaths who care for no one but themselves
-Are racist, homophobic, and classist
-Bully, demean, mock, and tear down other people for no reason besides finding it to be fun
-Repeatedly refuse to change, even after they've repeatedly seen how harmful their behavior is and how toxic they are and how they don't need to act like this to do well in life
-At no point, ever, did they show redeeming qualities. Ever.
You can be a hilariously hateable bitch and a complete monster. Everyone in here knows I love #5 to bits, but that girl totally got what she deserved.

Ryan has a trend of leading **** up to a VERY promising finale with the episode beforehand, and then trying to do this thing where he "deconstructs" the show for the finale by skipping forward or some **** and totally switching the entire tone to do some artpop-esque ******** instead of just riding off of the suspense and tension and having a nice finale.

I was all here for buying this season on DVD, & iTunes, but EW I NEVER Want to Relive that mess of a finale again.

This is a ****ing show where the police force was cut for funding for GHOST HUNTING. Quit taking all of the character traits as if its a depiction of realistic people.

What I didn't like about the finale: the show did something interesting the entire season by having a protagonist (Grace) that was actually LESS top table than the supposed antagonist (Chanel). However, apparently that was just lazy writing or we should be content with the Chanels straight up losing in the end?
I get they found happiness and all, like the asylum scene was really cute, but the fact that the Chanels were basically punished and Grace & Hester made it out of this finale unscathed, ch...
However I didn't think the finale was as bad as yall. People do this with every show, trying to find EVERY LITTLE QUESTION that they can see wasn't answered, well guess what? No freaking show is going to answer every last question so get used to it. There will be plot holes. There will be "what about ____?"s. But life goes on.
Actually the main thing I'll say in a negative sense is that I don't feel like I took anything away from the finale. It didn't leave me with "what an amazing show" despite it being by far my favorite show of the fall season. I wasn't touched by a message. I watched an episode, was entertained, and then it was over. idk, just my thoughts.

The fact that they had 4 ad breaks and 15 minutes of the finale of repeating the beat of Hester framing them over and over.
The fact that they repeated the same joke with Chanel #5 and Hester's parents faking paternity
Ending it with a jump cliff hanger
The fact that the 'good girls' had evidence and just sat down and watched Hester rant when its so out of character
The stupid hotline joke
There being no fight in the end
