That's not accurate. Empire had 1 season with 12 episodes. And then it had a 2nd season, not an extended season 1.

HTGAWM DID have an extended 1st season. However, we already knew it was going to have an extension. It's not like they decide these things at the very end of a midseason finale. There are WAY too many plotholes and fallacies for this to have been the original ending. Y'all don't understand. I know Ryan has plotholes in all his finales, but this is taken to a NEW LEVEL. Watch Coven for what I used to think was his worst ending; full of plot holes, but it made sense somewhat in the end.

This finale was just a giant TURD that he took because there was no other option. The show was cancelled. It's obvious.

Except it didn't. The jury saw RIGHT THROUGH the BS story and had a not guilty verdict. If Chanel had kept her damn mouth shut, they'd be fine. Part of the beauty of it for me.
