Not true. Lil kim is known even if not just for being a rap legend but infamous for other mistakes she's made. She is known.
And she was a lead on that song with Pink, xtina and mya. I don't expect you to think Kim is known though but that doesn't change the fact that she is and she has memorable classic records and albums and not disposable luke warm for the moment songs.
I used to get annoyed when I'd hear Kim's songs on the radio or in clubs/parties during my sheepish stanning for Nicki (2010-2014) however, I now understand that classics and quality will always be favored over gimmicks and propaganda.
I was really pulling for Nicki to bring it home and make PinkPrint a classic rap album with classic records but she failed to do it thrice over.
Now people brag about her "streams" many of which are free and include a list artist that can actually sell albums or have hits on their own.
