Because pedophiles don't just become pedophiles over night. I'm sure if all of this is true there have been instances where the family noticed his strange behavior toward children, or heard whispers here and there. She IS enabling him in a way by being Nicki Minaj and bailing him out showing him he can mess up and she'll always be there for him.
Hopefully she didn't know any better but if there have been any previous reports or gossip and she bailed him out, she's done.
