I'm not saying that everything was unnecessary. I appreciate that they actually tied everything very well leading us to final events. But it just could've been done so much better and in an interesting way so a viewer wouldn't want to skip more than a half of the episode

I can deal with AHS being bad sometimes but the only thing AHS can't afford for itself is being boring. We don't need sh!t like Fiona's and the Axeman's sex scenes taking up 80% of Coven's time or endless dialogues like between Elsa and Ethel or John and Mr. March

I truly understand what you are saying. HOWEVER, the episode was not boring to people who don't spend time analyzing every scene on Hotel.

To me it was boring at some points, but it was needed to fully comprehend what is going on at the Cortez. After TCK the series will take a new path since the main character is now fully revelead for what he is.

I absolutely agree about The Axeman, I am binge watching Coven and BWB! slayed my existence.and even since The Axeman appeared you can feel the downfall of a perfect season, so far.

I am happy this is NOT the case with Hotel. There won't be any more episodes in the vein of TCK. The main difference between TCK and the second half of Coven which includes The Axeman is that John is the essense of this year's season whereas The Axeman was introduced without being needed and did not contribute to the plot, at all. TCK felt like Devil's Night to me. A little backstory never killed nobody. Especially since they never expalin **** on this show.

You should be definitely tuning in for the two part episode. The winter finalé especially will most probably be the best episode so far. With The Countess marrying Will, and John and Ramona possibly trying to kill her while Alex is dealing with the vampire children, the episode will be anything but boring.

So far, the season is superiour to Coven and especially Freak show because it didn't fall apart in the middle. It really depends on the last three episodes and how the story unfolds to judge if it can be named the third or possibly the second best season after Asylum.

Yeah, wasn't the Axeman given so much screentime because Jessica liked Fiona/the Axeman love story? At least that's what I read here.

Anyway, two bad episodes out of 8 aired don't make a difference for me. I still very much love Hotel and it's shaping up to be the second best for me after Asylum (if upcoming 5 episodes will be as good as episodes 5-7). I mean, it gave 'Room 33' and 'Flicker' that are already among my favorite 10 AHS episodes.

Next episode's gonna be epic, I can feel it I hope the wedding actually happens

With Jessica, Gaga and Emma possibly returning with lead roles S6 will most probably be the second best to Asylum. Truly AHS' revival. Maybe there is a pattern.

Murder House - Hotel
Asylum - S6
Coven - S7
FS - S8

Ryan said with Hotel they are returning to themes concercing primal fears (MH) and that with S6 they will be doing something dark and rogue. Dark and rogue = Asylum. History its repeating itself.

And Alex is a terrible person. An unhealthy obsession with one child and a neglection of another is not what a good mother would do. She hit John with divorce news when he was already suffering enough. Then she decided to drive him crazy so he never finds out that his son is alive. Oh, and Alex put to death so many innocent people with her stupid decision.

Liz and Iris are the only closest to protagonists and they deserve to live
