Box office poison is too strong of phrase in regards to Fassbender. Michael Fassbender isn't box office poison. He's had a couple flops recently, but his track record is pretty solid ("300," "X-Men: First Class," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "Prometheus," "Inglorious Basterds," "12 Years A Slave," et cetera). Not to mention that, at the very least, his flops are critically acclaimed. P.S. "Assassins Creed" is going to be another blockbuster for him. His career is really critically and commercially impressive, seeing as he hasn't even been on the scene for ten years.
