! I realized recently that I had Paradise underrated. It's definitely her best era visually. I hate ranking her albums, they're all great in their own right. Well, UV is definitely her best but after that it's too hard to say.

Maybe better in the Base. It has very little to do with HM.
However, I never listen to the album start to finish? Anybody else has this experience? I always cut the album in like 3 or 4 parts and listen to these songs for a while and then I listen to other ones.
The album misses some dynamics, but the individual songs are very good, sometimes a bit too long.
I don't know about BE but Cola is sonic perfection.
It just misses some edge, imo. I blame the production on it. Structure in itself is very good, but again produced by Rick Nowels and I simply don't like his way of producing songs that much.
Oh, and Freak once again for the record: the bridge is so amazing, but it takes so long until she gets there and the "stranger than a stranger"-line, kills the song almost.
It's crazy how much she is winning, yet so many people think she is losing.
She is probably making just as much money as she did during the Born To Die/ Paridise era with this album due to the lack of high budget videos and large scale promo.
Lana is just making the transition in to being an album artist. I bet we will probably get another album next year. If feel like this works for her. 2/3 videos per era and an amazing album with great themes to tie it together.

yeah, i prefer her like this too, as long as she can release new albums every year
