And considering all the network she has, Jimmy Iovine loves her, Arthur Fogel loves her etc. she is simply one of the most (if not the most) powerful celebrities. It just doesn't look like it, cuz she misstepped with ARTPOP.
Her Network is unbelievable. And it will come to FULL force once the lead single is out. No one is ready.

I agree. I think people underestimate her position.
Jimmy iovine is involved in one of the worlds biggest companies foray into music streaming (Apple), not to mention his connections in music, film and co-founding Beats by Dre.
Arthur Fogel is the CEO of the biggest global touring company (Live Nation).
She's becoming the Academies' darling. Both Oscar and Grammys. This is actually quite important to lay the foundations down for future projects which can live or die off (lack of) acclaim and industry support.
Ryan Murphy is a handy friend too in terms of television gigs. He has a lot of projects and connections.
Post-Oscars and AHS, she's venturing into the acting side of Hollywood in a 'legit' manner. Typically popstars-turned-actors transition with blockbuster popcorn flicks and struggle to gain respect.
In terms of artists, she's hanging out with Elton John, Sting, Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennet, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, as well as contemporaries like Beyonce and Adele.
In the fashion world she's 'in there' with Versace, Balenciaga, Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaļa, Hussein Chalayan, Armani, hell even H&M. And it's growing year on year.
She's even dipped her toes in the tech world.
This isn't about bragging rights, but rather that she's poised to kind of do whatever she wants because of her connections. That's power.
For instance, right now, it's totally feasible for her to; win a bloody Oscar, get her 7th Grammy in her 7th year, sign a lucrative launch deal with Apple Music, star in a major film role like WICKED after TSOM tribute, collaborate with a long list of legends, star in another big TV show, and it's just a matter of time before she begins building a legit fashion house.
And on top of that, we know she wants a lifestyle empire (dog food/fashion etc.) and to venture into Broadway (which Elton and Cyndi would gladly help her with, no doubt).
I really am scared of those vocals
