Leonardo DiCaprio or Michael Fassbender is definitely winning Best Actor next year. If the Academy truly
hates Leonardo DiCaprio's guts, they will give it to Michael Fassbender. They're not giving it to Eddie Redmayne twice in a row, plus the "put an ugly guy in a dress for an Oscar" bit was already done recently. Johnny Depp says he doesn't want to be nominated and says he doesn't want an Oscar for "Black Mass," so he may be nominated, but he's not getting the win since he Joaquin Phoenixed himself.
People are saying Sylvester Stallone is nomination-worthy for "Creed." I personally find that hard to believe, but I haven't seen the film. I much rather Sylvester Stallone fill the slot, than Matt Damon (since he's talentless). Anyway, since Matt Damon revealed himself to be a racist recently, he probably won't get nominated (is anyone really surprised Matt Damon is racist, though? He was born and raised in Boston.). They may give the last slot to Michael B. Duncan or Will Smith just because they're both black, so The Academy can avoid getting any racial complaints this year.
In conclusion, 2016 is Leonardo DiCaprio's year unless The Academy truly wants him dead (which they do, because Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't suckup to them like the other nominees are required to do, and The Academy
hates that about him). If Michael Fassbender wins, it will also be worthy. The rest of the Best Actor nominees are just hype, pretty much
