My digital audio professor, who does mot keep up with the music industry, said his friend met with Taylor Swift and confirmed she knows a lot about the production side of things and was talking in audio engineering language. Multi talented queen. Confirmed that she doesn't let old guys tell her what to do. Everyone here also praised her and a couple people admitted having 1989 kii. AOTY, here we come

I mean, I figured.
So many of these women are actually, genuinely talented. It's beyond ATRL/stan-culture that tries to deny them and attributes that success to others. It's really twisted, almost like we can't actually believe that women could be in control of their careers.
I see it with the Rihanna puppet drags, Taylor being manipulative drags, Beyoncé writing credit drags etc. It's all stupid.

Starships: It's cute but it's not enough. Sounds dated and unoriginal to me now but it was my **** when it dropped so  The beatdrop and "**** who you want and **** who you like" are my favourite parts. So relatable [even tho im a virgin]
Pound The Alarm: This is Starship's hotter, better, sexier brother. Better verses, chorus is beautiful and the bridge is cute.
Whip It: So many people say that this should've been the lead single, I mean, it's OK, nothing special. The instrumental part is there and the chorus kind of drones on. The verses are great tho!

Overall : The album is a very messy album but still full of bops and good tracks. It seems like she just recorded a bucketload of songs and added whichever ones she thought were good and would do good on the charts. If the album tracklist was shortened to 13 it would be more cohesive and a better overall project. I mean, the standard edition is 19 tracks alone  If she had took off some songs [SITL, Gunshot, etc.] it would be much, much better.

Nicki really needs to tone down the features because 
I really like this tbqfh. The chorus is really filled with emotion and and the "choking on every lie" line is absolute perfection IMO.
