Whenever sites that generally DONT have anything to do with Kpop put out Kpop exclusive lists, they do so to generate clicks. The best way to get those clicks without actually having to do hard research is to just transpose the most viewed/recent/posted about Kpop songs as their best of the year list, thus you get a standard list like this. Cuz honestly everyone just wants to see best of lists contain their faves, so you should just fill the list with groups that have the biggest fanbases.
