I noticed that too. I really thought of the pilot when he mentioned it lol. Then after watching, they revealed Dorkus is the title of the first part of the finale! Though, it could just be a foreshadowing that the Melanie storyline would return. Something is up still I can't wait for tomorrow's episode
I'm rewatching the Grace/Gigi conversation in episode 8, and OMG. It really does seem like perhaps Grace & Gigi were working together but Grace didn't know much about Gigi's past, and Gigi's past reveals to Grace WHY Gigi is killing, and THAT'S why she's upset. She's realizing that they're working on entirely different motives and that's why she
killed her & Boone
. And Gigi saying "Ya gonna kill me?" at the end so alludes to the fact that Grace has already killed some people with her.
But what was Grace's motive and what is Gigi's motive?
Grace's motive is fixing the trainwreck the sorority is. She's not having it with the bitches and their attitudes and she's hoping for some social reform, and I believe she figured that was what Gigi was after, too. Meanwhile, Gigi's working more for revenge of what happened back in 1995; why she's so hellbent on revenge is likely to be explained more in the finale, but it makes sense. And because Grace figured out what Gigi's motives were, she feared that she might kill Wes.
Mess Grace is dumb as **** if she has to resort to killing for something like that that seems a little extreme

nn That's the thing! She was gonna GIVE ha a shot and let ha try to be nice. Ha trial run was the assault on Melanie. Then she realized how ruthless Chanel was after Ms. Bean's murder, so she killed Chanel #2 to send a message and hoped that would get the point across (and Chanel #2 was one of them, so she was killing a bitch anyway, and since she was leaving & alone she was the easiest to kill). And then that sour coffee confrontation proved that no change was going to be made, so she told Boone to go kill some of the pledges (or she did it herself, but I doubt she'd do a fist pump after killing someone).
I need Chanel #3, #5, and Denise to survive I cant imagine losing Chanel either. Chad can go tho.

Notice how when Gigi says that what she's really upset about is her and her dad, Grace doesn't say anything. WHOEVER the killer is killed Gigi for a reason, and that seems like a likely one. Also during that Grace/Gigi conversation, Grace never once accuses Gigi of being the Red Devil.
I am so here for a scene where Grace is revealed to be the killer and has a confrontation with Chanel where Grace presents #5 being dangled over the balcony duct taped just so Chanel can go "Eh" and then Grace drops ha
