I hope this flopping badly teaches them a lesson. Do not ever push out a mediocre song, especially when you're still a new artist trying to make a name on a difficult format. Her material last era was and still is indefinitely better than this.
Also, this has shown me that Republic Nashville do not give two ***** about Cassadee, tbh. There was virtually no push. Just a random release, adds date two months late, etc etc. Hopefully this will light up a fire on their asses and make them plan out their strategy better.
Her duet with Chris Young will definitely be a hit, it will definitely get some award nominations, etc.; they better be f****** smart and push a damn great single so she can actually profit from that exposure, otherwise her career will be over lmao
The duet with Chris Young has been confirmed to be the second single from his album.
So now, all I am hoping for is that Republic Nashville has common sense this time around and release a STRONG, BRAND NEW single when the duet becomes popular on Country charts.

She needs a big, Carrie Underwood-y, heartbreak type ballad. That's her strenght, imo. But I don't know, I have a feeling they'll won't let go of IAI so easily :/
