Katy is smart on the business side. I mean, she didn't top Forbes this year from nothing, especially considering the fact that she was a high school dropout.

Also what I will say is that any black female artist (Beyoncé, Nicki) that's made it big in the industry likely have VERY good business skills, as unfortunately black and female artists still have to "prove themselves" in this day and age before being respected...
