DELIRUM - ELLIE GOULDING
19.
Paradise
This is like Stay Awake's better sister, I don't know why I feel that way. Anyway, why isn't this on the standard?

There are no flaws to be found in this one. The chorus reminds me of Latin pop for some reeason and I dig that. The instrumental is so Halcyon Days (which I love and I'm not ashamed to admit it). The lyrics are great and the message is very relatable to me. I have this on constant repeat. It's sad but you can dance to it. Totally a song that speaks to me.

Heal
After a huge dud, comes the best song on the album. Heal is perfect. It's everything I love about Ellie and her music. Sharp lyrics, sharp melodies, sharp vocals. Everything about it is perfect. I also can relate to the lyrics a lot (I was the hreatbreaker with my ex and it hurts being on that side, too) and she described the situation perfectly. The bridge contains my favorite lyrics from the album "it wasn't innocent, you've measured every inch of love you've given out" because it's SO TRUE and I would not have known what that meant but I experienced it. I LOVE IT. My go to shower song. It should have been on the standard.

Outside ft. Calvin Harris
When I first heard it, it was so bland but after radio overplayed it, it actually grew on me. I love the breakdown (although it's overused a bit). Solid lyrics, amazing production, and overall just a quality bop. Again, why is this on the album? Who knows, but it's cool.
