I mean I get the whole "the top songs of each genre should be measured with airplay/sales/streaming just like the top songs on Hot 100" and the #1 R&B song in America shouldn't be determined just off what R&B stations are playing but it's really just a handful of songs that are huge hits on Pop that stay #1 on the chart the whole year.
I'm just glad we have a separate chart for airplay still.
