Considering I'm muslim I probably know more than you. Hijabs are fine as long as women choose to wear them (even then they probably grew up being taught women are second class humans). What are you talking about? Burqas are dumb and why should they be allowed in western countries?

Also, why when western woman travel to the Middle East they are expected to oblige by their local laws? We don't kick up about this. We respect the land we are on and go by the laws of their countries. It's also illegal to be gay in skme Middle East countries, do you see gays protesting against that?

Not sure how I feel about this. Like it's unfair for them but at the same time, I disagree completely with the concept of a burka, niqab, etc. It's oppressive to women in my opinion.

People should be able to express their religion how they want and to dress how they want. Freedom of expression is exclusive to whites?

You are not allowed to dress how you want (at least in Europe). You're not allowed to walk naked in the street, you're not allowed to wear clothes promoting Nazism etc. Imo Islamic Fundamentalism from which these clothes stem from should be fought which as much strength as possible, and that includes fighting its symbols.

When my parents talk about their trips in Iran, Syria and Irak in the late 70s and early 80s, it all sounds so beautiful. They visited the countryside as well and they can testify that at the time there was not one burqa or niqab in sight. I'm so sad first for these people and second for the rest of humanity that will never get to experience a beautiful culture which has sadly been reduced to smithereens by war and an extremist ideology.
