Toni braxton influenced Britney with her debut vocals
Madonna influenced Britney with stronger (see open your heart). Once Britney started out as a phenomenon but then starting to be more sexual and flirtatious they began taking elements of Madonna's blueprint and incorporating it into Britney's brand.
Now Britney's personality is way more janet but for obvious reasons it was more marketable to align her with madonna.
Oops...see Human nature video. stronger...see Open your heart video
Janet - the big dance choreography and using Janet's most known choreographer for oops (Tina landon)
Also, crazy is modernized Janet, slave for you video was influenced by janet see someone to call my lover. Boys kind of has small inlfuence. Touch of my hand, early mornin etc.
Some of Janet's stage shows influenced Janet but in reality you can count on one hand how many dance/videos and probably less than 5 minutes worth of performance was influenced by Janet.
dwad has more janet influence
Onyx has more madonna influence
either way, Like Usher Britney was the female counterpart where she knew how to be influenced and still make it her own.
It wasn't a copy paste move or pretend it's my idea until I'm caught.
She always gave respect to Madonna and Janet and Michael and her brand was strong enough to stand on it's own with taking the best from the best and modernizing it.
Like a true legend does...
