... that's because The FameGa in interviews wasn't her sweetie. Gaga has said multiple times she put on an accent (hence the accent change from TF to BTW) and acted different in earlier interviews to make people like her. Some of y'all never seem to pay attention to what she says. And of course she was mysterious, she was this unknown bitch who shock up the entire industry and seemed to appear out of nowhere with global domination and attention. She had an enigma because she was new, because she was hiding behind her outlandish costumes we weren't used to seeing on pop stars, because it was this honeymoon period of when you discovered a new artist and were in awe of them. We know everything about her now, she's been dissected to hell, we're seen her at her worst, at her best, etc... It isn't going to ever be like how it felt during The Fame. Time to let it go.
It's true, the "mystery and allure" is gone, we know her, and for those that still love her (us, assumedly), it's time to see what the real her is all about. I think C2C is that, but obviously most of us want to see the "real" her via pop music. Now that'll she'll ever stop being artistic and boundary-pushing, but a lot of ARTPOP was a bit contrived.
As someone who's been around since the beginning, it does feel weird that we're heading into her fifth album. The honeymoon phase is definitely long since over, for me at least.
It weirds me out to think that in a couple of years, I could see people posting online that are "getting into Gaga" and were "too young for The Fame/Monster etc."
The fifteen year olds posting on ATRL even now were eight years old when Just Dance came out.

Omg, that's disturbing. I'm 23 now so guess she came out when I was a teen, so the ideal age really.Katy, Kesha and Gaga are our generation. Poor the children.

She debuted when i was like 13/14 or smth and I'm 20 now omfg. Won't be long before she's a decade into her career
I'm so happy she was here for the majority of my teen years

Our generation had such iconic moments.
Britney, ha meltdown in '07 + Blackout
Gaga, Katy, and Ke$ha all slaying at once
Bieber back when he was an annoying child and not an even more annoying adult
Youtube/Streaming becoming a thing
the Dance-Pop craze in general
What do these children have now? Selena and Demi? Iggy? A mess.

As of right now, not really, I would say that maybe when she's 36 or something.
Hell, Beyoncé is older than Gaga and I don't see anyone saying "I'm just getting into Beyoncé" because Giselle has always been in the public eye so, as long as Gaga remains the public eye, we'll never feel like we didn't discover this midget with a blonde wig singing about bisexuality back in 2008.

Never too old to be a monster, right....right?!
I love it when I see Gaga posing with +50 year olds.

Ugh and of course we had Paris, Nicole and Lindsay all cracked out throughout our early teen years. We didn't deserve the endless slayage! Poor teens nowadays. Taylor.

This isn't really fair. When Gaga/Katy/Kesha debuted I'm sure the Britney/Xtina/whoever stans were saying the same. It's a (silly) cycle.
Girl you know he might have just gotten a different assignment It's not like they're supposed to be friends or something. She's gone through a lot of bodyguards.
I liked that pic Gaga posted of her cooking. Giving me Cooking Mama teas. (Cooking Gaga)

I'm just glad that she really wasn't a fad for me. I've had a lot of artists come and go and she's really the artist I see myself listening to still from 10 years now.

Yeah, also ARTPOP is where she was trying to REALLY beat herself and make pop music that the fans loved again. A lot of fans were upset that BTW wasn't a huge pop party fest, so she tried to recreate The Fame on steroids and it didn't work. Then attaching all the nonsensical meanings afterwards didn't help.

Those are the words that hurt the most, but it's true.
