I agree. I'm just being dramatic.

The whole "I thought Britney was way more successful on the Hot 100" thing has been mentioned by like everyone who doesn't follow charts. It's very obvious, as shown by her album sales and international single peaks, that the Hot 100 wasn't the most accurate measure of popularity.

EDIT: Oops and Crazy could've been #1 hits had they just released the physical CD single, though. So I mean, it's really nobody's fault but the label. They wanted extra album sales and they got them.

A lot of those urban hits were huge, though. You can't tell me those songs by Usher, Terror Squad ("Lean Back"), Ashanti, Ja Rule, Outkast etc. weren't true #1 hits.

If her label didn't release her singles for sales, and they had bad airplay, then it's Jive's fault not Hot 100's fault she sucked at peaking high.

You always see people saying Toxic would've been a #1 but it really wouldn't have. Yeah would've blocked it easily. I do think it would've gone Top 3 had digital been included.

BMG Club Sales. And they are legitimate sales. Included in RIAA certifications.

She has sold just over 3 million with all of her albums through those so it's hardly "millions and millions."

BMG & Sony Club Sales. Her fans always include them with her US album sales, when they shouldn't be included.

In the 90's you could subscribe to either of those for a subscription price per month. Then BMG or Sony (which one you were subscribed to) would send like a magazine of all their albums, and you would be able to mass buy a lot for a very deep discounted price since you were a member.

Like you could get 10 Sony albums for $10. So you were paying next to nothing for albums since you were already paying them money for a membership. That's why Soundscan didn't count the sales.

And yet the Army comes @ Monsters for including Born this Way Amazon sales. Hypocritical.
