True, her entire pop music career was literally just dance-pop songs and weird outfits, nothing else. She's never changed anything except the quality of her music declining, that's probably why the GP grew tired of her

theres nothing wrong with vapid pop music and lady gaga knew that with the fame which was why it was so special. it was basically a heidi montag/paris hilton type album but with somebody with a MUCH better voice, a sense of self awareness, and wit. it was amazing! then the fame monster built on that with bigger ideas! then she boght into her own hype

The non SYG answers is that she grew up training/ singing that type of music. The album was planned sometime after she was featured on his duets album. (So before any recognizable decline to her career). I don't think they knew if would get this much attention though.

I think Gaga saw what being a vapid popstar did to Britney. It RAVAGED her mind, body and soul, left used and abused by everyone around her, a withered, flop, forgotten carcass of her former self.

This to be honest. The problem was she started believing her own hype and lost all self-awareness of her position in the industry (generic dance-pop hit-maker). She started thinking she could take more involvement in her own career as opposed to letting Akon and RedOne pull the strings and then the decline started

Also Gaga is like 30 now. I mean look at Britney still flipping her hair, gut hanging out of her tank tops, still lip-synching to "Oh bay-bay bay-bay I'm sex-aaay!" like it's 1998.
Yeeaah, I don't trust fans/critics hyping "Jessica Jones," seeing
as "Daredevil" was lackluster. I'll watch the pilot, but I expect nothing.
