No it isn't. Carly produced a much, much, MUCH better album. Its worst song is better than 1989's best song.
Yeah, the title track, the opening track, and I think Pin (I can't remember what it sounds like, though.) are my least favourites. Plus, I wish Life In The Vivid Dream was longer.

Style is definitely better than most every song on Emotion. Pin is the one with the great guitar riff before the pre-chorus
