Kiss is in my Top 3 albums of 2012 and EMOTION in the Top 3 of 2015, I didn't mean that in a bad way.

I haven't actually ranked them but I'm pretty sure they'd both be up there. Off the top of my head 2012 would be Warrior, Kiss and Hello My Name Is... (Bridgit Mendler) and 2015 would be EMOTION, Nine and Kiddo/BIBO.

I should give Run Away With Me like a 2 since people talk about it as the next coming of Jesus, but I will try to shove biases aside. This was...okay. Not glaringly horrible, but there's background sounds in this song (I think it's a brass instrument?) that dragged this song down a lot. The chorus tries to be powerful, but adding reverb to your voice can only do so much for a weak chorus! (7/10)

But I agree RAWM is overrated. I actually love the song so much, but ATRL holds it to some godly standard. I feel the same way about Katy's Teenage Dream (song). I love it but, yeah, it's not that holy.

I actually begrudgingly liked this song the first time I'd heard it, but I mean...it does set out what it attempts to. I guess I could say that I wish there was more "E*MO*TION" in this song than just campy ass gay feelings, but this is Carly we're talking about. I expect this to remain my favorite on the album, though. (9/10)

This is absolute garbage. How did this get the ok from a label? They surely should've known this was nowhere NEAR CMM's level, where you either loved it or begrudgingly liked it. This is so shallow and banal in all forms. I am almost offended listening to it. (2/10)

The repetition is killing me, and not in a good way.

Is this a common theme in Carly's music? I don't use. Anyway, her vocal mannerisms really drag a lot of songs down, this being a great example. Literally anyone else could sing it and I'd rate it even half a point higher. (6.5/10)

EMOTION is the kind of album where you go to put on one song and when it finishes the next track plays and you can't skip it. Next thing you know you've listened to the whole album.

But I've played Old Ways a few more times.

Obviously Demi is a better vocalist but Selena really does have a better ear for good music imo.

The thing that makes me sad about All That is that it's probably as dark as the album will get sonically (I know L.A. Hallucinations is low-key dark lyrically), because the instrumentation was really mystical in this song...it wasn't so disgustingly upbeat. This could've been darker lyrically and it would've fit well. I might use her more if she had more closer to this. (8.5/10)

Oh look, we're back to the sickening, overwhelmingly upbeat sound. I can easily see Boy Problems being a fan favorite (since only little girls and gays are listening to her), but well, I'm not her fan so...meh. I just found this annoying and immature. It would've been cute if Carly was like...12. (6/10)
