Selena Gomez. Joe Jonas. A clip from the Teen Choice Awards. Rihanna. Lady Gaga. Literally proving my point
But you're not making any point. The older generation of singers like MJ, Mariah, Madge, Céline, Shania, Lionel..etc praised her, her peers and the ones her age did too and it's the same for the younger ones too.
Who else is supposed to do so? People that were dead before she was born or the ones that aren't born yet?
As already said in this thread, Brit isn't really "respected". She's fairly liked. It's a nostalgia thing. No one considers her a really talented or serious musician.

None of those people actually praised her though. Half these "quotes" yall are referring to are people saying "she's nice" or that they like a song of hers.

Sorry but this is not true either. When it comes to the likes of, let's say, Christina Aguilera, most celebrities talk about how rude and mean she comes off as. just an observation though.
Here's 45 minutes of video footage of praise for y'alls satisfaction
so I guess the people who praise every other pop artist like P!nk and Christina are out of nostalgia as well right?
Somewhat, sure. But Pink and Christina are actually seriously respected as artists. And are actually praised by people outside of the Teen Choice Awards. They are praised consistently for their talents and stuff. So it's definitely not all Nostalgia.

You keep going round & around in empty circles. You choose what to believe and you're making wrong statements about the topic that were proved wrong but you still come back with them. It's too pathetic that it's almost cute.
Britney is a respect legend. You're gonna learn it like this (maybe you already did)
No. People who grew up with her like her because of the nostalgia (Hell, I will always adore her because she brings back fond memories of childhood), but I wouldn't say that she's 'respected'. Adored as a celebrity, perhaps, but not respected as an artist or seen as a serious musician (unlike, say, other mainstream female artists like Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga).
Rihanna. Adele. Marina. Lana = 20-30, teeny boppers during her peak nostalgically stanning
Pink, Christina = her literal peers/friends.
Madonna, Mick Jagger, MJ = older pop stars giving safe answers. And saying you like someones song =/= I respect this person.
In regards to Britney, Madonna has said, verbatim: "I also admire her talent as an artist". That quote reflects the idea that Madonna respects Britney.
"I don't think she needs any advice from me! She's been there, she's been on stage, she's shook it all out! She's very talented and knows exactly what to do. What I wish for her, especially as a mother, is for her to find wonderful people who can help her find a balance between the artist that she is and the mother, and to try and find an emotional balance to coce with those two and be the best of both worlds, I think she can really do it!" - Céline Dion

There's literally no point in arguing with you because you're not willing to inform yourself of the facts before coming out with these ludicrous statements. If you watched the video you would have seen Madonna say that she respects her talent as an artist. No matter what positive things they'd have to say about her you'd try to find a way to negate it. A classic example of a downright biased hater.
