The label kept pushing it on her when she never wanted it. They wanted Outrageous as the lead single, Britney wanted MATM and later invited Madonna on the track. Then they wanted Outrageous as the 2nd and she had to fight for Toxic to be released since the label thought it would bomb due to it not being urban in a 2003/4 urban fever domination. Then after Everytime, the label went at it again with Outrageous as the 4th single and Britney just went along with it this time, and fvcked up her knee and the whole album promo, halting any further releases (Breathe On Me was gonna be the 5th single, one of her favs).
So yeah, I can see why she'd hate it. Plus I dont see why the label loved it so much, as far as urban bops go, I like The Hook Up and Boom Boom better. Heck, "Outrageous" was even thrown around to be the title of the album.
