Gaga has surprisingly been killing it as the Countess, more than rising to the occasion of all that’s been asked of her, and they’ve been asking quite a bit, what with all the flashbacks and character changes and arcs. But she’s been rolling with the changes like it ain’t no thing, and I’m loving it. I wouldn’t be the least bit shocked if the performance nabs her at least an Emmy or Golden Globe nomination, if not a win.
