I really wonder why her team doesn't feel confident enough to let her sing live, yet Selena's team has absolutely no problem letting her sing full blast with no backing track all the time.

Because J. Lo excels at dancing. Selena can't even dance, so she has no choice but to take the chance and sing live each time.
Whereas J. Lo can just call it a day, lip-sync, dance her ass off, and still have a decent performance.
It's basically she tries to sing and ruins her career, or just lip-syncs and dances and does decent. And let's not even try to manage the thought of her dancing in full-force and attempting singing live.
Given a choice, what would you watch? JLow lipsyncing and dancing or flUsher singing and dancing (with that fug face) or Mooriah lip syncing and barely moving on stage?
