George Bush did some awful things as President yet I still secretly sorta like him. He had great charisma, much more than the supposedly smarter brother of his.
He killed 100k in people. He should be considered a war criminal.
Elite GOP establishment figures are reportedly looking to draft Mitt Romney for a last-minute bid for president as they grow increasingly anxious about the unpredictable candidacies of political neophytes Donald Trump and Ben Carson.
Allies of Romney, who lost to President Obama in 2012, have come up with a strategy for the former Massachusetts governor to make a late entry, according to the Washington Post.
I read about that. Apparently he has no interest though???
If he enters the race not only would he be an IMMEDIATE front runner but he would probably, at this point in time, be favored to beat Sanders or Hillary in the general election. Right now Hill is shown losing to almost all of the republican candidates in a general election matchup so I don't see that changing with Mittens

These people always look good on paper until they start running for office. All of the 2012 baggage will come up again. People will remember his disdain for voters. He lost for a reason the last time.

What baggage? that 47% or whatever comment me made? Meaningless at this point in time.
I hope to see Hillary doing surprise walks when she's president.
I'd be hysterical if I met the President even once but I'm going to miss Obama when he leaves office.
He didn't deserve the obstruction the republicans gave him during his tenure tbh.
Hillary is known to have worked very well with republicans to get legislation passed though.
So I don't think she'll face obstruction the way Obama has.
Well I think you're speaking on the liberal talking point no? (As I personally never cared about Romney being too rich for the presidency)
They say he's too rich so he's out of touch with ordinary Americans and would favour big businesses over the middle class. Hillary, for her own part, is not as rich as Mitt, actually was in debt when she left as SoS, and even if she were rich in Americans eyes she would be trying to regulate business practices and raise taxes on the wealthy so her policies wouldn't be skewed.
That's why it mattered then why Mitt was rich. This time it doesn't because the republicans are just looking to rally behind an established candidate

Clinton's are worth over $100m, she was far from broke when she left SoS, Bill was raking in millions.
Besides with Trump running there is no way you can attack anyone for being rich. You don't think Hillary isn't going to favor big business with all the money she gets from them? All Obama has done is made big businesses bigger.

Apparently Hillary turned over some tax info or something the year she left as SoS and this confirmed what she said being true but I'm not sure how reliable the source I read that was. Either way she's not even close to being rich, or at least Romney rich
I don't care who's rich or not, I care about the policies the candidates are offering. And I don't think Hill would do that, she's been getting Wall Street money since 1999 and has still been one of the more liberal candidates in terms of tax increases we have had during her senate tenure. She could very well change during her presidency if she is president but I don't see it

I don't care either who has money. I care how it influences people. Back when Hillary was first lady she met with Elizabeth Warren to talk about bankruptcy law. After learning about a bankruptcy bill going though congress she met with Bill and they ended to stopping it. It would have made it much harder on individuals to file against creditors. Hillary and, Warren especially, thought this was a huge victory. Later when Hillary became Senator Clinton, she voted for the same bill she killed years before. So why fight to have the bill killed as first lady only to vote for it as a senator? Money.

The thing is though, every single candidate is receiving money like that from various interests groups, republicans and democrats alike. So if you're going to say one party (or in this case one candidate) is taking money from big groups and will be corrupted you have to say every candidate will be that way
The only two candidates who say they haven't taken any money from lobbyists or super PACs are Sanders and Trump, both of whom I don't believe one bit but we won't find out until January 1st
He promised to sign an executive order on the first day expanding Medicaid in the state, something the Legislature had voted to let the Governor take care of some time ago, poor Bobby
Vitter looked like he had it until the scandal came out, and also people thinking he was too harsh to fellow GOP potential candidates

I don't support him (I don't support anyone anti-abortion) but I like him better than Vitter and it shows LA WILL support a Democrat when pushed hard enough.

I agree. He said he's going to put more of the budget into schools
