Getting an oscar is a career peak for everyone in the entertainment industry, i wonder if the delusional atrl gays will acknowledge it, or come up with lame excuses when Gaga gets hers in a couple of months...
Or him outselling My Everything's total sales in two weeks, without 5 back-to-back hits.
It's so surprising that Bieber can act like an asswipe and still sell more than girls like Katy & Rihanna ever have, while we also have Taylor & Adele who can outsell him in 1 day.
I think it really does show the roles females have to portray to be atop today. The talented sweet girl is universally loved every single time while the the useless sex doll will always be nothing in the grand scheme every single time.
People are really into the "singer-songwriter/girl-next-door" image right now.

Accidently napped through Water Under the Bridge to halfway in Million Years Ago (it's been a long Friday for me ).
Katy's sales are the most embarrassing. Remember when the industry thought TD would debut with 750K? Those are the #s she should be pulling given her music, image and promo.
Even after that era + its re-release she still couldn't crack 300K. Like, what's missing?
I bought 21 back in 2011. A physical copy, at that. Wow, still a great record. Sad that her follow up effort doesn't demonstrate the ambition that record held in spades.

Rihanna's sales in the U.S is more embarrassing. Katy at least has (had) huge single sales. Rihanna's is lacklustre considering the airplay she gets.
If she doesn't do AT LEAST 600k first week when she comes back with another generic Dr Luke "empowerment anthem for everyone" after she did the Superbowl Mortifying.

Like iHype said, it's the fact that Rihanna and Katy are seen as "mindless sexdolls" is maybe the reason they don't sell albums outside of their fanbases and few casual buyers. I think they've done well for themselves. Not everyone can be a Taylor Swift or Adele, whom both basically sing songs that appeal to everyone without being offensive.
Yeah, Rihanna's sales are a little bit more embarrassing than Katy's.
Good Girl Gone Bad STILL hasn't reached 3 million yet, and it was released in 2007.
She had 9 singles sent to radio, a re-release, 4 more albums released after, even had multiple features become huge hits (Run this Town, Live Your Life) during it's time and it didn't even go #1.
You know how embarrassing that is to not go 3x Platinum with an album that had 8 multi-platinum hits in the 2000s climate...
She had TEN multi-platinum hits that era including RTT + LYL.
And she doesn't even have the 'generic singles don't sell albums' excuse anymore when Shake It off and Hello are both super generic but launched their respective albums to 1M+ and 2.5M+
Yes, Rihanna's situation is far more embarrassing.
7 platinum albums and countless global hit singles has afforded her what exactly? Bitch is out there selling SOCKS while cowering in a bunker waiting for hurricane Adele to pass.
With just a few years in DC and 4 albums, Beyoncé was able to move over 600k in 3 days based on her name alone.
