I respect The Fame for what it is and how amazing it was at the time, but it's definitely a bit of a pop culture relic. Forever iconic of course, but not terribly listenable. (though "Just Dance" remains a smash that could go OFF even today)

Imagine the lashings if Gaga had three underperforming singles, none going 2x platinum yet, her label scrapping an entire album to go back to record material the GP liked, her scrapping a tour then scrapping singles from release? I just think Gaga is in a great place right now and she's done well to get herself there.

If there's any justice in the world, she'll succeed with LG5 as much as she deserves to. I don't sense the claws are out anymore and we're seeing with Bieber that it only takes a radio hit to bail you out of the doghouse. And he was in a much worse place and is delivering much worse songs than she will.

I think people expect Adele to dominate now so there'll be less forced competition, but she's lost that new car smell now so there won't be this rallying of supporting Real Music over pop bimbos.

Rihanna ****ed up by showing she's **** scared of 25, because that's a story for the media. It is amusing though that she gets away with so much because like has been said above - ANTI has been a huge mess. Something you'd expect from a C List popstar.
