She claims she's not in it for the money but keeps her newest album off paid subscription services to make money. Keeps her newest album off freemium services... to make money. Drags freemium services for "devaluing art" while keeping her back catalogue available on them... to make money. None of these actions make sense with the goal of preserving the value of art in mind, does she think we're stupid?
I doubt Adele is keeping her album off streaming to make more money...she was already gonna make a lot of money cause she's Adele. I don't know..maybe she just don't want to stream this album.
But like Beyoncé, her ass will probably put it on everything after awhile.
That desire is for music rooted in authenticity and vision, like Adele's, a million miles from the radio-ready Pop assembly line. Music that digs down deep. Music with soul.
There's just nothing there of note.
