I think I really like this episode but the flashbacks were just too messy.
The man that turned her not even being the original vampire, but some actor that randomly got turned by a director was boring.
also the reason was tacky, but the murphy-tacky-way, so it was tolerable.

and gagas acting wasn't even bad. i think she acted that mousey and cheesy on purpose.

i don't know why but i was excited to see wren. she slayed this episode and i was shook when she got run over.
i wonder how gaga will deal with it. of if she will care at all.

Firstly she was one dimensional, now she shows all kinds of versatility in this episode and she is bad ? The only bad scene was the one where she wanted to jump, but then again it looked just like a Movie from the 40s so ...

This was another solid episode, and it shook everything all the way up. Not the absolute best, but, to me, the most entertaining one yet. Pure fun, and the first episode since #2 that I feel like re-watching right away. I think this season is stabilizing now. If it keeps it up it's easily gonna finish third best.

I hope we're gonna get to see more of Marcy as a ghost. The irony of her dying at the Cortez.

Alexandra Daddario is such a great addition to the cast. Sublime actress. I want her back next season. Also, Valentino > Tristan. He's so handsome.

They did Finn so wrong with Tristan, but at least he gets to shine now.

That Ren bitch looked scary af when John entered her room. She was an interesting character, they should have done more with her.

Some of the acting in this episode was messy, though. Gaga was tragic here and there (although I didn't even really mind) and both, writing and acting, in the scene with Will and his son was cringe-worthy.

- [laughs awkwardly] Well, adults are complicated.
- Then... I approve.

As this season's getting weirder, more complicated and neglectful towards a lot of characters (Iris? Ramona?? Sally???) while adding others, it would definitely profit from having a couple more episodes than usual (16 or something).

It was a good episode. I liked the flashbacks. Gaga's acting was bad but it didn't disturb the narrative.

I enjoyed the Lynch feel of this episode.

I wasn't against her being in this season but yeah I basicaly disliked her and didn't think that she could bring anything to the show. But she has my respect now. And I definitely enjoy her presence in Hotel. Queen.

Oh you C/H/A/N/E/L....I read your comments first cause I wanna see an opinion first of a non monster before watching this episode but meh you been judging it way too hard, this episode was good.
Not as good as the last one but still nowhere bad. At points Gaga was a bit off, like the scene where she was gonna jump or when her veil was taken up but other then that it was decent. I guess I'll just take the comments with a grain of salt next time.

Other than that I'm very pleased with her progress.

I agree with one of my first friends in this thread Brunette Ambition Elizabeth was acting all cheesy because she was a young actress wanting immortality and fame, she was embarrassed by the invitation of Valentino but it also was love at first sight so she accepted right away (eg, I've always acted weird around people whom I liked/loved and for me Gaga's acting was convincing). What did you expect her to act like? Like the Countess, a cold-hearted woman?

If you didn't notice she wasn't using her accent in the flashbacks (or any flashbacks at all) which means this monotonous voice she uses is part of her personality now.

The scene when she tried to suicide seemes like a 40s/50s movie scene, heartbreaking and tragic but beautiful at the same time.

Could we please appeciate the tango scene? Probably one of the most iconic and beautifully shot scenes of the entire season? The way they used black and white when Valentino and Elizabeth were dancing...
