Radicalism is a problem in every community, but you can't take a radical minority's example and apply it to every single person in that community. Because you're now doing a disservice to every person in that community who is not like that and is actually fighting against that type of behavior. The same goes for Muslims. Some of you should really get to know some young modern-day Muslims before passing judgement. There's millions of them already living in the US who don't condone any of the behavior described in this article/thread, just like there's millions of Christians and blacks who don't condone gay-bashing, and millions of whites who don't condone black killing.

It's not like the majority of muslim people don't like their governments. They do. That's why they're in power.

Same can be said for the Bible, yet there are still millions of Christians who disagree and actively act against certain parts of the text because it's an old book written ages ago and humans have moved past such barbarism. There's no reason to assume that there aren't Muslims who believe the same for the Quran. And there are.

Yes, the majority of [b]Middle-Eastern[b] countries may be homophobic. The Middle-East isn't the only place where Muslims exist, and even among Muslims in the Middle-East, they still don't ALL hold the beliefs that are mentioned in this article. There are tons of people that moved away from the Middle-East for that reason alone, and plenty of people that disagree with the way gays and women are treated over there, as well as their belief system. There are ALREADY Muslims that have immigrated to the west that don't act or believe in radical Islam. You cannot (rather SHOULD not) apply a stereotype to an entire group of people based on what a subsection of that group does. Period.

If for example same sex marriage went to a public vote the majority of the Muslim community would vote against it because of their beliefs, that's hurting thousands.

Tbh I think homophobes and sexists don"t deserve to be saved ajd they should be grateful af if they are. I understand bigotry is deeply rooted in the culture of Islam, but can't they think independently? It's so hypocritical, to be so bigoted when you're endangered in your country. I have entirely changed my work plans from western Europe to places which already has very strict immigration laws. Yeah you're right, these millions of people are not running away from their homeland in fear of being massacred by wars and terrorist groups that are supposed to on their side, running away from poverty and hunger, running away from a place where themselves and their families wouldn't have any possible prosperous future... they all got together in a secret meeting and thought "Hey you guys, let's go to Europe and threaten white privileged liberal homosexuals's lifestyle!"
