People don't realize that disco was another sub-genre pioneered by blacks. Funk as well.
It's always a kii to me when racists talk about how "black people music" (rap and r&b) is so bad but they are indirectly responsible for many of the current genres. Not all of them but a large amount.
It's documented that blacks are the masterminds behind several genres/sub-genres, and even the white co-pioneers have acknowledged it. Look at the documentaries. It's not just black people talking.
